Information for Creatives

The Festival will run from Saturday 11th July - Sunday 19th July 2026, with a special launch event on the evening of Thursday 2nd July 2026.

 

In this first year of Yorkshire Fringe, time constraints have forced us to run as an unincorporated association. The consequence of this is that for 2026 we have to assume a more supporting role than we intend for the future . As such, for this year we cannot get involved in the actual production of shows or the booking of venues.

 

It is our hope that for 2027 onward we will be able to take a more active role in helping Creatives to stage their shows but for now, if you are an individual or theatre company interested in taking part in this years Festival, you will need to arrange your own booking by liaising directly with a venue. 

 

To assist, you can find a list of Yorkshire venues and their contact details on our website here. Although we cannot endorse any venue or guarantee availability, we have liaised already with many of them to apprise them of Yorkshire Fringe and a number have indicated availability during the festival dates.

 

As well as the chance to be involved in this exciting new venture, what we can offer to individuals and companies once your booking is confirmed, is our help to publicise your productions and events through our website and growing social media platforms. Shows will be able to attach the Yorkshire Fringe festival branding to their shows and our social media team will contact you to plan how best to support your publicity strategy for your show.

 

For shorter shows you may wish to post on our Facebook group to see if there are other creatives that wish to team up with you to book a venue. We will also be running networking opportunities around the Festival week to enable participants to make further connections and to learn more about the future of the Yorkshire Fringe.
